Not sure you can blame the physio therefore?

That wasn't at all clear from your post.

You need a space between points ;)

Doesn't sound like Accy has sought any physio, NHS or private

IMO the NHS Physio is crap, they use a standard procedure for all ailments...
I've no idea about general NHS physio, but I have to say the cardiac rehab physio I had was excellent - properly targeted, carefully assessed, and with longer-term follow-up.

I might do in the new year, but it's getting better by the day,so what more could they do? My own physio of exercise bike and walking seems to be working.
Check that everything is ok, i.e. all the muscles are in balance

You are unlikely to get in anywhere before the new year anyhow

I have to have physio every 2-3 days after the op on Wednesday, having to go to a place 4 miles away as the hospital where the op is being done is shut until the 3rd Jan (I have physio booked for 24th, 28th, 31st...jolly eh)

Accy, have you been discharged? It's very possible you'll be getting physio

I have an appointment in January, for an x ray and to see the consultant. He might suggest physio then.

What might benefit you is spending some time in a swimming pool, chest deep, and walk across the pool. Balance won't be an issue, you'll have more buoyancy and you'll be able to train other limbs.

Consult someone qualified/experienced in this.

Plus it gives you an opportunity to get your Speedos out.

I got it all the time when I fell off horses and broke bones (pelvis, thigh, ankle, foot, wrist, elbow, collarbone (often), ribs, skull - not all at the same time). I still got back on and I have still been known to ride, from time to time. I haven't had bad injuries from bike offs but I suspect that people would say the same thing.
I slid off this weekend trying to ride bareback on a 9 year old Blackpool front carriage horse, how we laughed !

Non cyclists don't understand, as I said before I get told to ride round a park stay off roads blah blah.

I have come off a few times but no major spills, only thing hurt was my pride.

Funny thing is when I did martial arts and got some pretty bad injuries no one ever told me to stop and take up knitting, I still get questioned why I quit a simple my body is messed up from it doesn't seem to cut the mustard.
