While I agree you are correct, I can't help but think of the beginning of the film Falling Down where Michael Douglas is stood in a gridlocked traffic jam discussing pushing the broken down car out of the way with a police officer who comes out with this gem - "We got a lot of glass and steel rushing by us at high speeds."

i think here he got away with it because he was so damn polite and cheerful about it, plus in the face of a camera where people are already resigned to being stationary there is no reality bubble like when they're driving along on the road.
pretty telling tho, you see it all the time because people are sheep - sheeple.
