I still haven't and now don't expect to receive a Christmas card off the neighbour I sent one to. I'm not mad, more wondering why. I'm going for the best option that she received so many she forgot I'd sent one, plus she's getting on a bit so she probably thinks she's posted one through my door. 🤔 Ah well, if I'm still here next year (and her as well) I'll post another one, but one of those 3 quid types, not a cheapo one and see if she still doesn't send one back. 🧐
I thought is a strong and weird reaction to not receiving a card.

I still have the few Christmas cards I received, here and there in my flat and the few I couldn't be bothered to open. I think I'll open the unopened ones on a hot summer's day in June or July like I did last year, pretending it's Christmas Day, but I'm in Australia not Accrington! 🤔 🧐
So are cards important to you or not? If you can't be bothered to open cards for months on end, it makes your first reaction something of a hissy fit!
Perhaps in June/July, you'll discover the neighbour did send a cad. We'll wait for your update.

But if I heard someone "couldn't be bothered" opening my card for months, I'd cross them off my card list.

Whatever you're taking, I want some of it!

Moon bunny

Dame of the trees.
why is "god" sensible?

Because he did talking snakes, magic fruit, burning bushes and such like, and wrote about it in a book that has the first use of the phrase; “hung like a donkey…”

For once icowden ,you speak sense.
But Deities I do not believe in tho'
.
I think the Fates do , their prime existence is to spread doom and gloom for anyone, prime example is the puncture fairy, nearly always a rear wheel , in the most horrid weather.

Not necessarily so, the broken gear-cable fairy (Sturmey Archer branch) helped me meet the present Mr. Bunny.

The unopened cards are from folk who handed them to me, not posted through my letterbox, so I know the neighbour who didn't send me one doesn't have one in that pile. Those who sent the unopened cards know I haven't opened them, as i told them my plan to open them on a hot summer's day in June or July. They seemed to find it a quaint, eccentric idea, but also nice, as instead of their cards just being looked at for a few seconds then put with all the rest one receives over Christmas,:tired: their cards will be 'specially opened' and fully read in such bizarre circumstances! I might even go the whole hog and have a mince pie and a finger glass of sweet sherry as I open and read them! 🧐
