I was over taken and generally thrashed in a half marathon by Tony the Fridge...a local guy who runs carrying a fridge

I have been overtaken by a Rampant Rabbit; I wasn't cycling at the time.

I view it the same as ebikes, still enjoyable but takes the hard work out of it . The wonders of battery power!.

Two memorable for me...
One was where a car literally pulled out right in front of me, I hauled on the brakes and skidded so bad my rear wheel was beside me...not quite overtaken by my rear wheel then but it was a miracle I didnt flip.
Second was year ago on my old Carlton Continental, commuting home on a dual carraiageway. I had a tailwind and was flying, really put the hammer down...I could hear this lumbering lorry coming up behind, noisily accellerating but it took an age to overtake me, I was absolutely hammering along. For some reason, that vision has always stuck with me.
