Numbnuts how are you proposing to support the afore mentioned sail in such a small craft as a kayak?

My father used kayaks and canoes. For as long as there have been kayaks there have been sails adapted to them. My Dad build a brace that locked inside the front of the kayak and tried it that way. Not sure if it was sucessful as I took no interest what so ever.
