I have no issue with serving myself, I just wish the machines would shut up, 'Have you remembered your card?' when you've paid cash is unnecessary.

Another vote for self service. But I don't like having to ask the supervising member of staff to come over to let me scan some alcohol (there always seems to be alcohol). It somehow feels like I'm back underage drinking, looking furtive

I don't like the fact my pannier is so heavy at those tills, you can ask them to zero the scales, but even then after a few items it then asks for assistance again! Or you just put everything on the scales and only pack your bag once you are finished with lots of evil eyes staring at you because you didn't do it as you went along!

However I do admit to reading the paper of the person in front of me on the bus today who seemed really interested in that page, I couldn't be bothered to get my own.
