Things that confuse me..

Roadworks confuse me. Critical works may cause weeks of mayhem, but the workmen are only there for 6 hours a day and spend half of that snoozing in the cab of their van breathing their own farts. Why aren't they forced to work a minumum number of hours a day, including weekends, until its fixed?

How can it be critical works on the one hand, yet on the other of such a low priority that contractors are able to string it out for weeks more than necessary? Which is it?

oh I know. We've had for example one lane closed on a main route, yet the work was only being done for 3 days in the middle of a 6 day closure

It still annoys me that many drivers do not know what merge in turn means. Thankfully there are quite a few videos on FB circulating now that explain that a) use both lanes until they merge, and b) it's actually in the highway code to do this, and c) it's not "pushing in", and d) scrabbling to get into one "queue" miles before the merge just makes everything worse

Oh I think this is in the wrong thread. It also confused me why people do this though
