To be fair, your mate's son is being looked after by his parents. This lady lives alone - the guy I assumed was her partner hasn't been seen since. It does seem crazy to me that somebody who clearly needs medical help is not getting it, but that's the nhs for you. I'm not completely heartless, she's clearly not well, but I'm inclined to think it's a mental , rather than physical , health issue that is leading to the numerous ambulances. So you don't really know anything about her medical issues then?Well, maybe think again. Not been the case with my mate's boy.
I'm worried that would just come across as nosey - or backfire and land me with a neighbour who knocks on the door every five minutes. Some people are very shy or lacking in certain social skills, I would still be inclined to knock and offer.
I would just like to add, that when I say these things irritate me, it's in a way that a fly irritates you -once it goes away you don't think about it. I'm not sitting here fuming inwardly about the injustices my neighbours thrust upon me. I find Davina McCall far more irritating.
