Our lovely little dog seems to be near the end of his life. We don't think he's in physical pain, but if there was a way I could take his suffering by God I'd do it and I wish I could

My brother and sister in law had their lovely 14 year Cocker Spaniel put down this week, they don't have kids, so their little dog has been the complete centre of their lives, its absolutely heart breaking, the whole extended family is in mourning.

Get a time machine and go back to change certain things in my life.
Either that or somehow get to re - live my life again, only knowing what I know now.
It could get a bit tedious though...

Whoever said that youth is wasted on the young was spot on!

I see, it's simply which way round your hands are. For me more strength with palms facing away is more useful eg for climbing

I had shoulder surgery last May and I towards the end of my rehab I started doing a few pull ups and got up to doing 5 sets of 5. I stopped doing them as I started climbing again and doing weights.
So on Saturday after climbing for an hour and half on my board in the garage I managed to do one with 20 lbs added.
So climbing makes you strong for pull ups but pull ups don’t make you strong for climbing.

I’d like to have words with the fox that rips open the bottom of my fence panels because it can’t be bothered to climb over. I’ve caught it on camera climbing over my fence on the right and sneak behind the summer house where the holes have appeared 🤬🤬🤬
I now know what he looks like if I see him again 😂

We get woken up by crows and gulls every morning. I'd like to shoot them all

I suppose unless you're effected by them it's difficult to understand.
An old friend of mine used to say the same, they had a great big oak tree outside their house.
I said to him what's the point, they'll just get replaced by a new lot.
Noise is a funny thing, I 'trained' myself not to get annoyed by it. My wife would complain...listen to that for heavens sake !
I'd reply...eh, I didn't even notice it (genuinely)

Where I used to live there were loads of gulls

didn't really hear them as they were also around where I grew up

I think it is what you are used to
traffic works the same - if you grow up next to a main road traffic doesn;t bother you
if you grow up in the country then you might be OK with birds but wake up at the first car going past

I'd like to be able to not worry about throwing my back out doing basic day to day activities.
Once, after a day mountain biking, I got home and decided to give the bike a clean, I didn't have a stand back then so bike was leant against the house while I cleaned one side, went to spin it round to clean t'other side and 'twang' went my lower back.
I've also thrown my back after a sneeze!
And one time, brushing my teeth  Out of the blue, it spasmed and that was me done for a few days.
