Brum's great. The art gallery and new library are well worth a visit. The canalside is great around the Sea Life Centre/ Indoor Arena etc. great for cycling as well.
A little further out, in Edgbaston, the Botanic Gardens are lovely.
Just dont go 'Round the Back of Rackhams'!

The art gallery was very good, they had a photorealism and a Grayson Perry exhibition on when we went.

There's the Bull Ring shopping centre, you'll know it's a friendly place, from the moment that you enter there's a smile on every face. Shops galore and so much and the famous indoor market, come by bus or come by car or come by magic carpet!

I don't much like chocolate so I wouldn't waste my time going to Cadbury World

I like the sound of the art gallery - I think they have a William Morris exhibition - and cycling by the canals.

Thanks everyone!

If you only have 5 minutes try the walk of fame of famous brummies. Theres Ozzy, Jasper Carrot... erm... they might even have claimed Noddy, but he is from Walsall.
