I can remember coming across moles, usually trying to cross a country lane and doing a bad job of it. Lovely little creatures with dense soft fur. On finding them I would stop and pick them up and place them in the verge only for them to turn round and go back again. Sadly I haven't seen any sign of them around here for a while.

I wonder if anyone else used Time Manager International. Quite a good product but very expensive. I see their prices haven't gone down

Didn't they make your budgie bounce with health![/QUOTE]

Yup, in the early days of the internet there was a rumour that Trill planted in the garden grew luminous grass. I can confirm that this theory is not true!

Things I used to do..................cycle all day and never get tired:sad:.

I used to average 16-17 mph and have a chance of staying with the fast guys, now I'm doing well to average 13mph and have to watch the fast guys whizz past.

I've stopped looking at average speed on my Cateye,

I don't pay a huge amount of attention to the average, but having been riding the same lanes for about 25 years it gives me a rough idea as to how well I'm going.

I was just reading a shaving thread and it reminded me of a razor my brother had in the 60's. It had a screw device near the top which opened the top to allow the blade to be put in. If you held the razor upside down it resembled bomb doors opening, so naturally being young you put small bombs in it and used it to bomb your toy army vehicles.
