We once nearly bought an Alfa GT coupé thinking it would be a more practical family vehicle than our 24v 166.

In the end bought a 159 2.4 diesel wagon. Spent all the money saved in fuel consumption over the petrol version decoking the dpf on a regular basis.

Out of the 4 options available to us, I would have ended up regretting them all, but that's just Alfa ownership.

Mid 1970's I nearly bought one of these.. Jenson CV-3
Affordable to buy but the 5.9 or 6.3 litre engine (I can't remember which one it had) returning 11mpg, wasn't cheap to run or drive around Thanet in..

Classy car, IMHO, though 😏

I've only ever seen the one in real life. It's a kind of half-way-house between the lovely if perhaps agricultural straight 6 541, and the slightly later Interceptor which also has a big

I had a company Alfa 147 Selespeed. Glad the bills weren't mine. Lovely car though.
