I had an MG Midget for a few years.

At age 50, mid-life crisis. We bought an MX5 and drove it 80,000 miles all over mainland Europe, in 4 years. We loved it ( except luggage space, I had a carrier bag, Mrs B a small suitcase). This is it in Spain.

I had an MG Midget for a few years.

When I was a yoof a friend of mine had a very posh girlfriend who drove an MG midget. No one I knew at the time even had a car, let alone a fancy sporty one. Anyway she gave me a lift once and I couldn't get out of the damn thing. In the end I had to roll on my back on the pavement then shake car off my foot.

My wife had a Ford Focus convertible. She liked the colour.
Didn't understand it had been breathed on. Ate tyres and frightened boy racers
Having a mistress would face been cheaper though
