My contract doesn't end til July so I'm going to try to contain myself until then, then look again at the Galaxy S3, though I do keep going back to the idea of an iphone for easy synching with my itunes collection. Too. Much. Choice! :banghead:

Got my first smart phone last month. A Samsung Galaxy Ace. Through Virgin Mobile. Hated this smart phone at first, like CJo, I just like a normal phone, but am slowly getting used to using it.,

Same here.

My employers issued me with my first company mobile last month which is a HTC One smartphone.

Takes a bit of getting used to, but it's quite good for reading emails and composing short replies.

The web is faster than I thought it would be.

Battery lasts a couple of days, which is not bad for a smartphone, but still rubbish compared to the week or more from my old Nokia.

I've had the Galaxy S3 since last August. Full Monty plan with T Mobile, £33 month for 2000 mins, 2000 texts, free calls to other T M users and unlimited data. It's more than I would ever use.
I love the phone, it's like have a little computer in your pocket with a decent camera and vid. BUT, when I first had it others asked me often if I had any probs re. the phone rebooting it's self or simply turning it's self off. No I didn't..... until now! A month ago it began performing said tricks and last week found it turned off and it was just dead. So, I am now awaiting it's return from T Mobile with some fresh software installed, which apparently is the usual culprit.
Would I have bought this phone had I known...........yep I would, brill phone IMO.

I am utterly incapable of making a decision :shy: and have just had another look at the Nexus 4. At £279 new, it's an extremely tempting option, especially since it turns out that there are many ways to sync itunes with Android :music:

I now use amazon for music and sync it with google music so I can stream it over the tinternet on whatever device I want, also the MP3's are proper MP3's not DRMed like those from itunes and also cheaper.

All my music is MP3 - I don't do brand-specific formats. One of the (many) reasons I've not got an ereader. Just happen to like itunes as a player.

iTunes Plus files (the 256kbps ones which are the default choice for purchases) have no DRM.
No, they don't. And if you have AAC versions you can convert them to MP3 very easily.
You shouldnt have to convert them, if you pay your cash to buy a digital track it should be provided in MP3 non DRM format end of story, and itunes should be setup to rip CD's in MP3 format by default but it isnt it is setup to rip in AAC format. Like all the rest of apples products they always try to lock you in:headshake:
