Thinking of a new bike

I've been thinking of getting another bike and was having a look at the ones in Tesco this evening, the prices seemed pretty good but I wasn't sure about some of the components. I took a couple of pics of one of the ones on display and was wondering if I could get a few opinions.

My mum retired from Tescos about 5 years ago, however judging by the amount of rust on the thing you may be right, she may well have put it together and then left it out in the yard.
BTW, how did you know my mum used to work for Tesco?

Well I'm hoping they'll let me have the display model, it's road ready!
