What about the Brompton hire scheme? Around £25 a year and £3.50 each per day. Seems a cheap way to have a couple of handy bikes when you need them. Suppose you may need a handy rental hub. Ive had a Brompton from the off and don’t use it much, but when I need it, it’s invaluable.

I'd happily use them like you say you need to near one sadly not an option

That I may be more happy with but I draw the line at a pink carnation
