The Gaudi stuff here made me wonder if GP was influenced by El Capricho..

I quite like it - It is outside the box - you cannot see from the photos completely how it fits into the landscape but from what you can see it doesn't seem too out of place - However, if I had the sort of money it cost to build it wouldn't be my choice

I am amazed it got planning when perfectly reasonable clients are denied their dream home elsewhere in the planning system

Totally agree with this tho

Money talks still, and taste appears to be somewhat vague, eclectic and random.... lost.

I'm tired..... if you like this house then god help you, because I won't.

Now if you got rid of the silly things on top and turned the roof material to thatch with a couple of eyebrow windows instead of pitched dormers you could have a nice building there . A nice bit of decorative barge boarding on the gables and some timber supports to the stone work and you could have a lovely black and white .
