Again, specifically those posts are drawing attention to bad driving. the car involved happens to conform to the stereotype.
So what?

You asked what pages...i did a search of one word and found 20 references of people forming opinions of one group of society. Over many years of contributing to Shauns forum I have seen repetative and frequent opinion forming of this type.

Human nature dictactes that we form tribes...in groups and out groups...bad evidence in any group helps to reinforce a negative opinion or each group. Like I say, its natural. Once bitten, twice shy...we are conditioned to naturally negativley evaluate so as to identify potential risk and avoid danger

And Actually you are incorrect, the posts are drawing attention to the fact that human nature works the way that i am describing. Theres no point being pedantic about it, its just human nature, its a natural defence mecahnism.

Dont think you can really put that in the same breadth as cyclehatred style of posts, tweets and webpages etc. Some of it is clearly tongue in cheek (Tosser's Chariot being an example)
I didnt.

You claimed a bias existed toward Audi drivers. To illustrate your point you linked to the story of a teenager who already had a conviction for chatting on a mobile at the wheel of his £30k Audi car who deliberately drove close to a vulnerable road user. Not the best example you could have chosen.

Quite. For it to be an accurate analogy, he would have to show posts where people had, for example, accused Audi drivers of being crap and dangerous, when they had just been overtaken completely safely.

I'm not sure why it matters if anyone in particular, or cyclists in general, have a bias (if you wish to call it that) against Audi drivers, or BMW drivers, or white van drivers, or whoever. From the way that some folk go on, you'd think a conviction that BMWs are often or mainly driven by arrogant peanuts in a futile attempt to fill the void at the core of their existence was akin to a hatred of women or Jews, or a belief that Irish people are stupid or Chinese people inscrutable. Buying a BMW is a consumer behaviour, and driving it is a social choice that impacts upon others. We are entitled to draw inferences about the choices that people make. These inferences may be justified or not. I don't give a monkey's what inferences BMW drivers draw from my choice to cycle - I only care that they do not endanger, intimidate or abuse me, and that I am not discriminated against in their interests. Personally, I think Mini drivers are the worst, and should all be disqualified immediately as a general precaution.

I should point out that Mini is effectively a BMW (being that the brand is owned by them).

I find that Minis driven by obnoxious estate agents in cheap suits are generally badly driven. I remember an altercation with one who simply drove at me instead of giving way where he was becoming rather abusive until I pointed out that his silly car not only had his company name on it, but the address, email, website and telephone number, all of which I would utilize in my quest to make his life miserable.
