To the bus driver that pulled alongside me then decided to pull in to the buss stop and near crush me this morning, don't worry about explaining the big dent in the side that I made reminding you I was there, before you stopped and then shouted abuse at me. I have just finished a meeting with your boss at the road development committee and he will be catching up with you to discuss your future employment this afternoon.

Hope that's true. The part about meeting his Boss, I mean. That'd be a great result.

I am part of the local road planning committee, I represent cyclists for the area, I get on well with the bus people, so yes it is all true, the driver has been sent on a safety awareness course at his own expense and his pay has been docked to pay repairs on the bus panel, he also had to apologise in person to me today.

I do not always use a camera, I sometimes have one on the front of the trike although I am going to be using a POV 1 from next week.

His boss made sure it was dealt with in front of the drivers rep, who he knows will tell everyone about it, as he says, he can give them all the literature but if it goes around the canteen that it costs to have conflict with cyclists then it will have a much greater and positive impact.
