Do it myself in 32 - 35 minutes. Not fail, but running a little over 6 miles in 52 minutes is optimistic.

Impressive - 32 mins for a 10k isn't far off national class.Do it myself in 32 - 35 minutes.

I stand by the time I gave. There's only you can alter it. So no watch on the day.You must be as fit as butchers dog! Last Sunday I did 5.51 miles in 59.13

Good luck to you, MrP. I hadn't given much thought to your age. I am born a decade before you. I only hope it won't take a decade before i can run as far as youI'll post the result on Sunday, don't hold your breath though, I'm 57 and have never run any where since primary school !
Been wondering this too. Hope you're OK @CarlP - that's the main thing. He's not posted since before the run. Hope he's okay.
I like running, but it is definitely harder on the body. It's better than biking in bad weather - you can go out, splash through the mud for an hour and that's it. I only do cross-country and fell running - can't see any attraction in pounding along pavements.
Dualthon?I run and cycle depending on what stupid challenge I have set myself for the year!!!!! If i focus on running then the cycle fitness goes out the window and visa versa can't seem to get a happy medium where they both benefit each other ........
