This weeks WTF?

Driving up Folly Bank, a fairly steep bugger on a major B road near Eggleston up in the Pennines.
I spot a cyclist ahead going up the bank, as there is no traffic coming the other way I pull across for a safe, wide pass and at last second spot his mate riding parallel to him, on the other side of the road against the traffic.

What traffic?

Maybe it's lucky the motorist in question was also a cyclist and therefore was probably looking for cyclists. Sadly a lot aren't and a worrying percentage don't even seem to bother looking out for anything unless it's their phone, sat-nav or the road six feet in front of their car.
I'm not particularly bothered about clothing colour, although most of my stuff is bright coloured anyway due to preference, I'm not cool enough for the stealth all-black look, but I always have lights on front & rear, the same in the car, lights always on. We need to give ourselves the maximum chance against the myopic or distracted d*ckheads out there.
