Bought a few things off them now, no problems what so ever. Really good prices as well. And will continue to use them.

A couple of recent posts made me think that they might be suffering some ''growing pains'' but I had no problems dealing with them for a bike and a couple of extras a couple of years ago. From personal experience alone, they've done exactly what was asked of them.

Bought a bike and some other stuff from PX. No problems whatsoever from my end.
Prices are pretty competitive too, as some one else has said.

No idea on their bikes, but terrible customer service, worst company I have ever dealt with!
This is my opinion and others will have had a good experience, like most companies really.

Excellent service for me. Everything I have ordered has turned up quickly and has been good kit at a good price. One exception to this has been my most recent wheelset off them which has pinged a couple of spokes a bit too early into their life. I suspect it is a problem with that batch of wheels being overtensioned as I have another set of these wheels without said problem and @400bhp had to replace his set for exactly the same reason. I believe Px did this for him after a couple of emails.

Excellent prices & decent products. buy a lot of stuff from them, they are just putting a new ordering system in place (so they tell me) and are experiencing a few teething troubles, a few calls were needed to sort my last order out, but all ended well.

I bought my first road bike from them a few months ago, I'm very happy with the bike and the service, it was ready for collection much earlier than the timescale they quoted when I ordered it

They supply a load of stuff for good prices. They are known for selling stuff extra cheap around the VAT bill time (or used to be). It's a small business that's grown fast ! They have a fair few ex. top end cyclists working for them. They aren't perfect, but they try. Bit like a bike shop gone massive.

Very cheap prices and the Px stuff I've had seems good, but you pay for it with appalling customer service.
I'll not use them again after my recent experience. I'll pay a bit more and get treated properly.

Personally I've never had a problem with Planet X.
I've bought 2 bikes from them (and shed loads of smaller purchases) and have recommended them to several others who have gone on to buy bikes with no issues.
In all cases, everyone concerned has been most impressed with the company and their products.

I would however recommend that anyone wanting to contact Planet X use the phone, rather than email.... they can be a bit slack at responding to mails, but have never been anything other than polite and eager to help on the phone.

Only used them for parts and accessories but they have been great every time. On the last order they forgot to include a light I had ordered, one email later it was in the post.
They always have cheap inner tubes which are worth tagging on a £20 order to make up free postage.

I use them for lots of stuff. Some stuff has arrived today:smile:

Pros
They can be good
Good prices
Stock some hard to get bits
Phone staff usually sort issues out quickly

Cons
They can be not so good
Website can have discrepancies, wrong codes, stock etc.
Picking staff suffer from brain farts putting wrong stuff in your order
Delivery and time can be bit and miss. Sometimes yodel, sometimes RM
Some of the cheaper kit is, cheap
Paying via a different PayPal on your account starts another account. I've complained about this so it may have been fixed.
