Thread subscription notifications

Is it just me or have the instant email notifications informing me of when a new reply has been posted to a thread to which I am subcribed stopped working as well?

When the mail system was reinstalled there were a lot of bad emails in the queue (looped bounce-backs) that were stopping legitimate outgoing email from being delivered.

The queue has been clear for a number of days now and the mail system seems to be staying up and working as expected, so hopefully this is now resolved.
