Three: Nice when poor customer service works in your favour

I met a friend at Heathrow yesterday, and when she mentioned that she needed a local SIM card, I remembered I had ordered one from 3 to test their signal, and still had it taped to the inside of my phone back cover. She put it in her phone; it's good for incoming calls and texts. I point her to the Three website so she can top it up, we work out the best deal for her and I leave it with her.

Turns out that the website said "this is not a payg sim". After the third phone call to 3 to sort it out, they apologise by giving her unlimited calls, text and data for 30 days. As she is flying out on the 16th, this is a nice result.
