Thru axle adapter for workstand?

I have an Elite Race QR workstand, but have now got a bike with thru axle. I have spoken to Elite who confirm they don't have an adapter, so I'm wondering if there's any after market pieces that CC'ers could recommend?

$60 plus import is a bit steep. Be easier to get a new workstand.

This is a bit cheaper.
If your DIY skills are good you could use 15mm or 22mm plastic plumbing pipe (cut to the axle width), a couple of pipe clips & a block of wood.
