Thru Axle broke but cant find a replacement.

I was looking for help finding a replacement through axle for a Cannondale topstone 1 2025 which has a 12x142 rear hub.


I managed to strip the head off taking my wheel off and i have brought two replacements so far and one is to long and one had the wrong threads.


The old Thru axle is 22J3QR52X - 12 - 160 - P1.0 - 16.5. I have a 165mm thru axle would that be safe to use? Very frustrated i cannont find the correct part easily, either they are to long or the thread pitch is all wrong.

Have you contacted Cannondale or the nearest Cannondale dealer or even your lbs?

I checked Cannondale's website and it said out of stock for a replacement. I unfortunately do not have a local bikeshop nearby.

All those thru axles on there show out of stock to me.

Try contacting the supplying dealer?

If that fails contact Cannondale direct.

Thank you for the link. I check the website and unfortunately they dont have any 160mm thru axles in stock either. I have now contacted Cannondale so i guess i'll have to wait to here back from them whenever that will be.
