So, I got myself a trailer for the bike, second hand but quite a cool tool that will give me a great excuse to get out more during working hours. :okay:

It fits a treat but I really want to fit it on my ebike as well but it has through axles and this is set up for a QR. Is there a conversation that I can use, or am I barking up the wrong tree?

What trailer is that? Is it a Bob Trailer? if so, then this may be the Thru Axle kit your looking for:

It all depends on the E bike's axle as well, but long story short, even if this isn't the exact axle, you should be able to find one. They won't be cheap though.

Yeah, its a BOB yak I think. Just bought it second hand so this is new to me.

Thanks for the link.

As Chriswoody says . Alternative option is depending on the thro axle is bond a threaded rod if it's hollow. Option 2 is an extra long QR from Tubus . Have used both to fit Old man mountain racks to bikes.

The first link looks perfect, although not cheap. I'm not particularly worried about the cost but I just want to make sure I've got the right one.

It's a bit of a minefield, but it looks like you should be able to get one. The axle I linked to looks to long for your bike at 209mm, from your photo you appear to have a 184.5mm axle.

Your best bet is to go to the Robert Axle project site where they have a really good sizing section.

https://robertaxleproject.com/what-axle-do-i-need/

Then if you can work it out from there, go back to SJS cycles and see if they have it in stock, they do seem to have a wide range of Thru Axles in stock for the BOB Yak trailer.

Good Luck with your search.
