Bicycle: a means of transport between cake-stops

I have the worst possible combination when it comes to mechanical stuff: I am very fussy about setup (hate anything that isn't just so, any little clicks or squeaks, etc) but have zero mechanical aptitude (I can strip a bolt at twenty paces merely by glancing in its general direction).
I thus have to get my bikes serviced by LBSs, and generally end up less than 100% happy.
Except today. Took my TRICE Q into Bikeworks, in Hackney, for a service. Advised them of several issues - both derailleurs needed adjusting, tracking was out, squeak fron the cranks under pressure (suspected bottom-bracket problem).
Picked it up this evening, and it's like a new bike. The mechanic who did the job, Carlos, obviously took great pride in his work, and stayed late to get the tracking completely right.
Will definitely be getting all my future work done there.
