Pretty misty start up in the capital city today. Sunflowers in the garden are peering south as if to say: what's that all about then?

A preemptive strike on the shops to secure DofE supplies has predictably left us one item short so, if I'm lucky, a trip to Aldi beckons.

It's still, so I might have a bit of a ride around later.

Its a bit grey here but it seems the forecasted rains been put back a bit. Feeling a bit weary after yesterdays ride and the walk to the pub for tea. Need to finish coffee and walk Bertie, later will be weights and fingerboard.

One of many restless nights again last night, meal prep dinner is sorted so can hit the gym on the way home and then scour the medical box for some sleep assistance tablets.
Not much riding on the horizon as the weekend is going to be quite lively.

Wet stuff is coming from the sky, don’t like it, especially as I finally managed to seal my new gravel bike tyres and wanted to test them (bike is spotless for once)

Work stuff and then a run and maybe turbo - or cider then wine 🤷‍♂️

Up early for a slightly moist ride into town, but glad of the rain nonetheless (from a garden point of view). Just gearing up to scoff my extra large cottage pie to make up the calorie deficit. Today is my Friday again (sadly the last one), but 4 day weekend here we come...

Afternoon peeps. WFW. Intermittent deluges here at the moment. Was like nighttime earlier, then it was a biblical deluges inside and out. Poor drains and factory gullies couldn't cope. Not good. Hopefully getaway on time today. Stay safe folks

uk weather must be catching, howling wind and got rained on properly during ride, in august ffs, which normally has zero rainfall, descending the haria hairpins in the rain was terrifying, but i still outpaced the cars

at least it became 35 and sunny for the last leg home

may have a nap now

Took a trip down to the riverside then seafront to check that it was just as misty there as it was at home: it was. At least the legs got a stretch.
