Plans to head up the hills for a final Munro of the summer season we're curtailed by a North South divide in the weather forecast.

Was threatening to be a bog fest anyhow, so really couldn't be @rsed driving 5 hours and sticking my head into a raincloud all day.

Stunning day down here. DD2 made apple and cinnamon scones yesterday, so maybe they'll go nicely with more coffee.

Was nippy on this mornings run but it was reasonably early

On the train to Glasgow from where I will travel to kinlochleven with a couple of pals from the states who are competing in a motorbike trial. I’m just there for the running and drinking. Need a break, though I’ve been working on the train

Back in work today, audit man has been and gone so all should be completed off site and in an orderly fashion. That means I'm free to nip out and get some bits ready for the weekend later.

WFW as usual and looking forward to finishing early. 😌. Need to sort tour come gravel bike out for an overnight trip tomorrow, panniers definitely not required. Looks like the weather gods are on our side for once. On other news, gravel bike i had for sale has finally sold after nearly 4 months on fleecebay. OH now happy bunny as its gone.

chilly last night riding home , got to bed about 2 am then up early for the school run , yawn !
Just been to the dentist for a failed root filling that needed looking at an the options were to try and fill or a crown both with the same chance of lasting so i opted for the filling as it was cheaper and i have the option to upgrade to a crown in the next 2 months and the cost filling off the bill.
Work tonight but i think i will cycle as i cant eat to early and i dont want to loosen anything .
Chasing the hospital as the assigned nurse hasnt got back to us about the arrangements for waste collection as its medical waste it needs to be incinerated , i phoned the council who said i need a form filling in which i gave the nurses email to the council but i havent heard anything . The ward when i phoned trying to contact them said it should have already been sorted out !
Got to phone the council again as someone has dumped a box full of metal cannisters outside the front of the house and its been there 2 weeks and they havent removed it even though the bin men have been and they premised removal within a couple of days

Managed to secure Christmas casual shifts at the Royal Mail. Allegedly starting at the beginning of November. Not sure I sorted a parcel in anger before December last year.

Afternoon
Its been bright and sunny here. This mornings walk with Bertie was another wild one, I was talking to fellow dog walker who commented how settled he’s become when two male Pheasants flew over the road. Cue one frantic dog.
Decided to climb again for the second day running which was probably a mistake as I struggled. Seven days without a rest day is probably not wise.
