Afternoon
Its bright and sunny here after a misty start. Bertie has been walked and some climbing done although I managed to tweak my elbow again. Dishwasher repairman has been out to fix dishwasher apparently it needed a software up date😱 You now need an app to use your domestic appliances.😳

Actually I am looking at going with a mate of a mate who's a good bloke and goes most years with a group. He's off to St. Anton end of Jan/early Feb so quite tempted to tag along.
St Anton is a very nice place, if you get across to Lech & Zurs which are on the area pass it's a good day out. You do need to be quick though as it's a trek. I think you can get the bus there though if you wanted an easier day.
Also don't be drawn into the two standard "apres bars" as they're full of pretentious pricks, Base Camp at the bottom next to the main Galzigbahn cable car is far better.

Ta HD - I've been to St. Anton a couple of times and to Lech once (although last time was 10 years or so ago so things may have changed a bit), so have a half decent idea what they're like. Remember the skiing and apres ski were good - I'm guessing you're referring to the Krazy Kanguruh and the Mooserwirt as the 'standard' bars?
