Nice dump of rain overnight, hopefully enough to put out a significant forest fire about 10 miles away that started yesterday afternoon.

It's a paint-the-kitchen-ceiling kinda day (showers being forecast on and off through the day), as I had a major roof leak a couple of years ago (before the new roof), and I got round to buying the paint yesterday. If a job's worth doing, it's worth doing tomorrow, I say.

Just get on with it.
Roller with pole attachment. So easy.

Morning

Cool and dull. Not exactly enticing 2 wheeled action. Hope it clears up a bit or else it's more roller action.
Cafe in the sticks beckons.

Revival coffee needed.

It is indeed too early to celebrate - I have 2 more days to work and then off on holiday. I feel these last 2 days are going to drag a bit. I have to go to the tip at lunch time, and then take my son to get school shoes after work. Busy day

Morning.
Not raining now, likely later, cycling less likely.
Been dealing with the vagaries of buying long distance train tickets.....

Indeed, and so much furniture to plop white drips on. I'll stand on one of the nice solid benches I've got in the kitchen and use an ordinary roller, as that's what I've got in the cellar..

Actually, I've decided it's time to sacrifice the Ikea sheets I bought for the house 11 years ago, as it's time they were replaced.
