Morning

I haven't been gazumped by that Englishman yet, have I?
Usual dark and there was over night soggy from Ireland way.
Today's highlight will be seeking a tyre fitter to put some Japanese boots on the the M thingy made in Germany.
Then perhaps, Café in the sticks in Scotland.

First: coffee. From Columbia.

Well, there is this weather girl that needs to be rescued from the clutches of corporate manipulation...
...and I have an offer on a Yugo 55. It doesn't have a floor pan or an engine or MOT but it's definitely a runner.

Moaning/Morning Peeps,

In the office today as have a half day M&A training session at a lawyers office this afternoon. I'm sure I'll learn loads and it will be riveting 🤭 There's a cold cider in fridge for when I get home.

Misty with a touch of frost. Feeling a bit sore from yesterdays Pilates I hope Mrs W appreciates the moral support from my attendance. Just finishing second coffee then it will be stretching, dog walking and some climbing followed by the pub whilst Mrs W is at Hardy plants.

Morning

Nice sunny start and no frost, Zwift TT this morning, new bike arriving, alarm bloke coming to play with alarm, then charge us money, completed by dinner at the restaurant run by trainees at the local college.
May need coffee first.

The only shenanigans here will be making a large batch of curried carrot and parsnip soup. It doth tiddle down outside, and looks like it's going to carry on doing so most of the day.

DeLonghi Magnifico, magnificas, magnificat, magnificamus, magnificatis, magnificant. Coffee, in other words.

Anyone else do Latin at school, and can't shake it off?

Nope, thankfully our comprehensive didn't do Latin!

I only did two years of it, didn't enjoy it particularly (despite Caecilius of the Cambridge Latin Course), but oddly glad I did. I think I might partly be able to blame my interest in language on it having been part of my education.

Morning. It still is, just.

Had to commute by car today, as I had to call in for a while you wait estimate for an insurance repair and the repairer is close to the office.
A journey of (checks google maps) 11 minutes if I'd set off now, was 35 minutes. Gelderd Road was completely chocka and not moving. Horrible.

WFH tomorrow
