Not here offten enough to argue
The crankset on the felt website says vero - the weight of the canondale is baswd on the write up in cycling actives july magazine.

The wheels i will be swapping out.....but also the crankset is over 200grammes heavier on the canondale, omega against vero.

Glad you decided which one you wanted , i had very similar problems choosing what bike i wanted, in the end i plumped for sram apex with fsa chainrings .Apparantly apex is the same weight as 105 and similar shift quality plus i can run a silly size cassette if i desire
EDIT ... mmm i am not sure but sounds like the mag must have had a miss print, i found this listing the sysnapse with 105 for 8.99 kg.

I might be wrong but sounds to me you were just talking yourself into reasons to buy the bike you had already decided you wanted by finding reason not to buy the other , weight of components etc 200 grams , its easier not to eat a few less cakes for a week and lose more weight

Never had a bike with Tiagra gears but currently run a Cube Triple with full 105 groupset, and can report the changes are silky smooth.

I just used it to show that i thought the weight they printed sounds wrong, the bike would not have gained that much weight over a year, whatever you decide i am sure will be a great bike, at this price point they are very competitve and it comes down to fit and preference .
