Yes, I've got a Tilley T5. I always wear it while cycling because..
1. The brim keeps the sun out of my eyes. I really dislike dark glasses so this is a major advantage.
2. It is reasonably rainproof & the brim keeps the worst of the rain off my specs.

Grt one you won't regret it.

Most of the old codgers on her Plax, would have a Tilley Lamp - not a Tilley Hat

Might explain why they feel a bit light-headed at times!

Dad and a few of his mates swear by them. I've looked over a few, havent a clue what each hat is specifically but they are very, very well made. Made in a way, in fact, that something should be to last.

I wear a Tilley, as I am follicularly challenged.

Last year when out walking in the Lake District I slipped on some grass and didn't injure my head....... I hate to think how serious this injury would have been without my Tilley.

I always wear mine when out on the mountains.

Thanks for the feedback. I also can't understand the difference between most of the range (except for price!). I think I might treat myself to one, purely on Arch's fact that they can apparently pass through elephants!
