This sickening incident near the Oval, seems to have been with regard to an experienced cyclist - so all manner of road sign changes, cyclecraft books, videos etc,
may have had no chance of making this incident any less likely...
The problem is to stop entirely, the starting away from stationary, on the left of a vehicle which has a potential to turn left......that's all there is to it - feeder lanes to ASL's, shouldn't, NORMALLY be a problem - it's not the major concern surely!
It's very simple - DONT WAIT IN THAT LOCATION........
Now, how can
anyone get THAT message across to an experienced cyclist, and an inexperienced cyclist...?
