Still has no relevance to the original post - just because he was annoying as an entertainer has no bearing on what this post is about

I found him extremely annoying as an entertainer. Then for some reason I read his book 'Utterly Brilliant' about his ebike journey to Santiago de Compostela.

He came across as a much more sensitive and endearing person - and I was a little humbled by my inaccurate pre-existing assumptions about his character.

Might give that a read. That route over the Picos and hooking up with the Camino is one of my favourite rides.

Perhaps - even in Boris' case - it makes them a better person than if they had NOT discovered cycling?
