Yep. He's just released a new edition. Not heard of him before so will give it a go. Sounds just my sort of thing.

I am sure we know plenty of tiny camp sites between us, that are not in the book.

Yes, over to you folks.

Tiny simple sites with just basic shower and toilet facilities are my favourite - until recently there was one on a farm on the south downs, shower was in something that looked like a small chicken shed but all clean. Much missed.

It's by no means comprehensive as they are campsites that he has personally stayed at, but the information on them is very comprehensive and there are enough of them that you could use for a UK tour. Some have stopped operating since the last edition though so he has added a few, most notably some YHAs which is a bit of a cop out as they have upped their prices this year, all > £10. But all in all, I think it's a useful resource.
