Not that I don't enjoy it. A few days off work giving a receiving presents etc.

Do you just relax and go with the flow ? - or should you organise things like quizzes , board games etc

One tip I will pass on if you have children is to take a day outside over Xmas - some fresh air and not being couped up inside 24/7 does everyone good.

Any other tips ?

Eat and drink as much as you can. There's always a load of good stuff being served up and lying about at Christmas.

We're going with the flow - all mucking in to do Christmas Din Dins for about 14 round at my parents ! We're all cooking separate parts of the meal.

Limit present giving and receiving. My family have undertaken a mutually agreed cull of gift giving in recent years and we feel much better for it.
I would rather receive nothing than a £20 gift that I don’t want or need.
Christmas is about people and not about presents.

An idea for you.
No one tells anyone what they are preparing. This will work well. Just think of the possibilties..........
Deep fried fish with rice pudding.
Turkey with tuna on the side
Roast spuds with jelly
The exciting list is endless.
BTW.........no need to thank me ^_^
