Sometimes you can persuade the chain back on by shifting into a larger chainring on the front.

I watched a you tube video and thought I would have a go at ajusting the mech myself.

Never again, a quick trip to my LBS and £10 later everything is running lovely again..

Don't touch the screws, unless you know what your doing.
I'm sorry to hear that. I found that the clip I posted was really useful. Maybe I was really lucky but I no longer need to take the bike to the LBS when things drift out of tune. Watch it and give it another go.

It is a better video than the one I have seen previously. I may be brave and have another go.

Just remind me what end do i hold that plastic and metal thingy? :blink:

Plastic and metal thingy? I thought you turn those screw things with a table knife, and use a shoe if you need a hammer.:wacko:
