I have just bought a puncture proof tyre. But I'm finding it really hard to fit to the rim.

The rim is 700x28
The tyre is 700x28c

Any tips on getting it on?
And did I get the correct size tyre?

That video is so wrong, as has been discussed on here before. Valve last helps give more tyre, making sure the tyre has dropped into the lowest point, putting tyre somewhere warm to expand a little.

The DVD look at where he has the buckles, sure would not want him fitting a tyre on one of my nice rims.

Do it how you would normally valve last, ignore the buckles or cable ties, BUT do as he says with regard to pressing the tyre back into the rim a couple of times or more IT WORKS with out DOUBT..

Soften the tyres first by putting it in a warm place like an airing compound so it will have more give when fitting.

Richard's Bicycle Book ca 1985: Never wonder whether the tyre will go on. Decide that it will.

Oh and, if having got it on, you notice that the maker's label is not perfectly aligned with the valve, you have to take it off and start all over again.
