climbs for cake
so my idea of eating healthy is a chicken kebab over a donna kebab. Does anyone have any tips on calming the eating urge. I could do with the weight off as i can't afford a lighter bike.

When I feel like reaching for food - especially sweet things, I chew some gum till the urge passes.

I have started spinning to get stronger as a cyclist, and to lose a few pounds.

yeah i have a terrible sweet tooth, and eat when i'm bored. I'm also a restaurant manager so the odds are stacked against me.

I sit at a desk all day - I get through 5 packs of gum a week and drink a lot of water, it doesn't take long to get out of all the bad eating habits if you really try.
 
The terrible unfortunate truth is that if you're dieting to lose weight, you WILL feel hungry.

The only real solution is to either deal with being hungry, or be fat.

I have a glass of fizzy water, when I feel eaty. It's gassy and fills you up.
They say that cravings only last 10 minutes or so, hence a glass of fizzy water. By the time it's gone through, so to speak, I've gone off the idea of eating whatever it was that I was craving.

cool i'll try it. what about normal meals....salad is the worse thing ever

I eat normally for meals. I've never been one for take always or fried food. Just eat normally, but watch your portion sizes. You'll find the weight drops off and you'll start getting faster and fitter.
 
If you don't like salad why not get a Nutri Bullet. I just blend stuff that I find difficult to eat like lettuce beetroot kale etc and just drink it. You get the nutritronial benefits and don't have to make a meal out of it lol.

Grab a banana when you need a sugar rush.
