To flash or not to flash?

Daylight, one front and one rear LED, both flashing.

Night, two front LED, one steady one flashing, three rear - two flashing and one steady.

This works for me.

i have 3 cheap front/rear sets of lights on my bike that are always set to flash (they are rip offs of the tiny Knog Frog lights) and then I have a Knog Boomer set to static facing front.

When I leave the house for my commute I look like I'm riding a disco.
