Today I did this...

ok I don't wanna get too excited or count my chickens but remember when I said that the reason I started was bcoz of a gallery that opened in Solihull which inspired me to try it. Well...
I just took this one and my seascape in to show the girl and she told me to email some of my paintings and they will send them to head office as they are always being asked if they know of any new talent.

That's good right? she seemed very genuinely impressed. i showed her some more stuff on my phone too. and she took a photo of my tiger to show her colleague who was out and also she held my painting up in front another, so i could see what it looked like framed and said it was easily as good as some of the ones they sell. Her colleague said she loved it when she got the photo as well.

Now i'm scared i can't pull this off again LOL. She told me to do a cow... apparently people love cows!

Well done Buggi, that's seriously impressive. It's a shame you didn't discover what talent was hidden there a long time ago but it's great that it has now come to the fore.

well we will see what happens. i have to do two paintings for some people that have asked (scenic views) and then i'm going to book a week off work and do 4 paintings similar to above, probably different animals, and send them in and see what happens. The lady did seem really genuinely impressed, i think more so because she knows i only started painting at end of June, but i can continue to pull stuff like this off i might be able to make a go of it.. i also have the exhibit to do, so fingers crossed. like i said, don't want to count my chickens just yet
