I've stayed in Falkirk a few times for work, usually at The Park. When it's a holiday it's a Travel Inn on the edge of town though.
I've been to Scotland loads of times, I remember it being sunny once when we were on the Falkirk Wheel.

Very occasional diver here. Completed what PADI laughingly calls 'Advanced' open water, but am definitely a fair weather diver - Red Sea yes, freezing cold British waters no. :-)
Perhaps I'll see if I can book some drysuit training next holiday ...
use BCD and just take off the squeeze with the suit
