Today is Lancashire Day and St Andrew's Day

I didn't realise it was either until i saw both flags flying up the park this afternoon. Wouldn't you have thought one would've re-arranged their day so they didn't clash.🧐

No point in taking a pic' of the red rose flag as it'd wrapped itself around the flagpole.🧐

More importantly today is my birthday.
When I was born the doctor caring for my mum was a Scot, he apparently suggested I be called Andrew because of the day I was born on, but my parents went for James instead.

Called Cullen Stink in our house... takes weeks for the smoked haddock smell to go in the kitchen... but love it!

To mark both days i bought a tin of Scotch Broth and a packet of Lancashire cheese. Broth and cheese on crackers for supper sounds ok.
