I made my own this year with our own tomatoes - fantastic! But I'm quite happy to use commercial ketchups even in making sauces. I bet there's more than a few Italian restaurants that add a few sneaky glugs of ketchup into their bolognese sauces...

You've never had bottled sauce on a burger/hot dog, even at a BBQ???

I gave Tomato Sauce to the kids and watched as they gradually switched over to Brown Sauce as they grew older and became adults.

lets be honest ketchup is used to encourage kids to eat, it's way too sweet to put on food otherwise.


Not to sure about the Roast Lamb option in the poll though, my favourite pet hate in work is watching someone in the canteen order a cooked dinner and promptly cover the thing in tomato ketchup.
