Yes. My paternal grandfather was Polish. My dad, born in Poland, was half Polish, half German. So yeah. I do hold on to the food and the traditions a little bit.

Having travelled a fair bit of the Globe: at 55 years old I’m ashamed to say I’ve never tried Pie, Mash and Liquer. There is a renowned shop locally in Gt Yarmouth that sells it. But to break that duck - tonight I made my own…..
