Well the 'fishcake' was alright. Served with mash and beans. Which is the combo that my Mum can't stand, despite liking both separately. I can't think of such a combo for me...

Beans and egg is food of the gods! The yolk has to be just so, though.

It was actually a very boring day and I decided I'd make a record of some of the backing boards they use for holding stuff while they spray it. I've always found them interesting as they are what's left behind and of no consequence at all, just scraps of cardboard and wooden boards we've rejected but I like the patterns that are created. When I get chance I'll post a couple of photo's from the computer at work to give a better explanation.

I have tried numerous times and given up! Either they're too flaky and come to bits in the pan, or they turn out like a big, horrible, stodgy lump ...
