I'm not sure how you'd check but I know for a fact there is one covering the bus lane along the south side near the Rampant Lion as I got a ticket for jumping too early into the bus lane as you approach the lights.(for future ref).

Would surprise me if the junction isnt covered.....maybe cctv from blockbuster carpark??

Although it confrontation can shake you up, I'd ignore it.

That's a good point! And it tends to go one way or the other - people like that are either sweetness and light as a cover, or they're monsters all round!

Sometimes they do! After all, it all makes footage for the multitude of 'Police Camera' type TV progs. If this guy threatened violence, perhaps they might expect him to give trouble when he is interviewed, so they might just take cameras along...

The police won't do anything. Your word against that of the driver. You need video footage and even then they may still not feel it's worth doing anything.

Unfortunately it is true.
I had a guy actually stop further up the road and stop me to have a fight ,i told him to calm down or i would call the cops and they did not even want me to come in and give a statement when i had the time , car reg and details of the driver and his actions.
Unless some one actually knocks me off i think (around here anyway) it is not worth reporting becuase the plod will do sod all .
